We met in Hong Kong in 2016 (thank you Tinder) and had a wonderful 4 years living on the fabulous Lantau Island. At the beginning of 2020 we made the decision to change things up. Various factors had an influence on this – a city going through turmoil, the sudden passing of a great friend, the desire to be nearer our family and friends and a realisation that working long stressful days in order to make enough money to live in Hong Kong, just wasn’t what it was cut out to be anymore.
Why France? Ed is French, Nicola is Scottish. We both love Europe, the way of life and the proximity to so many wonderful countries and cities. So it seemed like the obvious choice. And well, let’s face it – the weather in the south of France is a little better!
What are we going to do? Ed has just launched his new board advisory consultancy, yourboard.co and Nicola is currently doing a coaching course to enable the eventual launch of an HR consulting and coaching business. Additionally, we hope to set up a Gite business, providing simple but stunning holiday accommodation to tourists from all over the world.
